Annual Fund Gifts: 

You can spread the joy of reading!  Donations to the RAISING READERS ANNUAL FUND are used where the needs are greatest now.  See examples of Your Donations At Work.

Donate online:

Donate by check:

  • Write the check to Raising Readers in Story County
  • Include your name, address, phone, and email. You may use this Donor Form.
  • If the gift is in honor or memory of someone, give the name and address of the    person(s) to be informed.
  • Raising Readers publicy recognizes donors in our Annual Report. Please indicate if you prefer to be anonymous.
  • Send to Raising Readers at P.O. Box 2374, Ames, IA 50010-2374.

  • If your employer has a Matching Gift Program, please send their form with your check.

All donations to Raising Readers in Story County are tax-deductible. Raising Readers is a non-profit organization registered in Iowa and exempt from federal income tax under Section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Endowment Fund Gifts:  

Donations to the RAISING READERS ENDOWMENT FUND provide long-term stability and continue to meet needs for years to come.  See examples of Your Donations At Work year after year as a lasting legacy.

  • Write the check to Raising Readers Endowment Fund
  • Indicate if you wish to receive Endow Iowa 25% Tax Credits and Story County Community Foundation will complete that process with you.
  • Include your name, address, phone number, email address. You may use this Donor Form.
  • If the gift is in honor or memory of someone, give the name and address of the person(s) to be informed.
  • Raising Readers publicy recognizes donors in our Annual Report. Please indicate if you prefer to be anonymous.
