What is K-3 Reading Buddies?

Raising Readers in Story County coordinates a FREE 6-week summer tutoring program to promote literacy skills for children finishing kindergarten through finishing 3rd grade who need a little extra help over the summer to maintain their literacy skills. Every child signed up will be paired with a trained reading tutor and will meet twice per week to receive personalized reading sessions. These 45 minutes sessions are held at convenient, supervised sites.

Children MUST have completed Kindergarten to participate.

Summer 2018 sites will be located in Ames and Nevada.
