Harrison Barnes Reading Academy - After School Tutoring
Running October 2019 through April 2020, Harrison Barnes Reading Academy (HBRA): After School Tutoring takes place on Mondays after school at Central Elementary School in Nevada, Monday evenings at the Boys and Girls Club of Story County in Ames, and Wednesdays after school at the Ames Public Library. Supported by Ames High Grad and current Sacramento Kings Forward Harrison Barnes, the HBRA provides FREE tutoring to children in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Students work one-on-one with trained volunteer tutors to supplement their in-school reading activities and focus on at-risk readers specifically. Contact Randie, Family Literacy Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (515) 520-8686 for more information.
